After over a month of waiting, Mason's package finally got to him this past week. He is so appreciative of everything, so it made all the hard work and waiting completely worth it.  His emails are getting better and better each week. Mainly because he is getting to know the people of Rivera on a much more personal level. The stories that he shares each week blow me away. He was made for missionary work—seriously gifted. The best part is realizing how incredibly happy he is. He truly has the light of Christ. I can see it so clearly through his words and pictures.
Some of the missionaries in his area were supposed to have a baptism this past week, but come Sunday their investigator didn't show up and the power was out in all of Rivera, so they are hoping for next week. They ran into a man this week that owned an antique museum, and he loved them so much he told him to come to him if they ever needed anything. They don't know much about his beliefs yet, but I'm sure they will find that out soon enough!
